Nikki Joy Williams is the Chief of Staff/VP of Community Relations for the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CAA). She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of communications. Nikki began her career in broadcast journalism as a news producer, working for several network television stations in Dayton and Cincinnati. She has a passion for storytelling, which quickly grew into a passion for advocacy when she transitioned from broadcast journalism to work in non-profit in the field of public relations.

She had the opportunity to work for two of the largest and oldest nonprofit organizations, American Red Cross and American Cancer Society. Nikki began to tell first-hand stories of families and individuals impacted by unforeseen circumstances and hardships. She tied those stories into the organization’s mission to provide relief and hope during times of despair. Nikki also began to understand the impact these stories have on provoking positive change, by bringing the human into the mission. For this reason, she decided to return to school to obtain her master’s degree in public administration from Northern Kentucky University.

Currently, as the Chief of Staff/VP of Community Relations at CAA, Nikki leads the organization in executing community assessments by partnering with other nonprofits and identifying programs and services that help to provide positive social and economic development within the community. Being a servant-leader is a true calling and she is honored to help in that drive towards affirmative change.
