In recognition of Women’s Health Month this May, the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Foundation is hosting Hot Flashes & Hard Truths: Black Women, Menopause and Policy Change in Ohio, a powerful virtual conversation centered on health disparities, systemic inequities, and the lived experiences of Black women. Moderated by Shayla L. Davis, the panel features an esteemed group of voices including menopause coach Sharee D. McCants-Howard, State Representative Dr. Anita Somani, State Representative Ashley Bryant Bailey, and women’s health advocate Dr. ShantaQuilette Develle Carter Williams.
